Henry finally can’t stand the MC’s stupidity and refusal to let go of the previous topic (Sungmin, the leader), so he says…
Henry: I was wondering, have we been on this show before?
MC: Yes, it was you guys last time.
Henry: Ahhhh, nice to see you again. I see the red and white background and remember I played the violin here before. Do you remember?
MC: Yes, playing the violin.
Henry: But not in the same studio, right?
MC: It happened in the same studio.
Henry: Ahhhh, it was a long time ago.
MC: Everyone must have worked very hard on this new album. I notice from the cover that there’s much experimentation with a new concept. All of us are very interested in the change of your hair color. What special arrangements were involved?
ZM: The album is focused on fast songs, so rhythm and beat are important. Before shooting the album cover, we had meetings with our company and discussed what feelings we want to give off. In the end, we decided we wanted to give a ‘punk’ feel. That was why when we finally arrived at the photo shoot, our hair color turned into what you’re seeing now. EH’s present hair color is blue but in the MV, it was a different color.
Henry: Actually, his hair turned into this color by accident.
EH: Blue represents the color of our fan club – pearl sapphire blue. That was why I dyed my color this color specially for our fans. Maybe in the future, we might do a commercial for hair dye!

Topic – The songs.
MC: I notice that on the new album, there is much collaborated with Chinese artists. I see that you guys collaborated with Michael Wong (光良 – http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/
ZM: All along, we’ve enjoyed Michael Wong’s work. During our last comeback, we sang “Fairytale” (童話 – a hugely popular song in China and Taiwan) during our fan meetings. When putting together our new album, we said to ourselves, we should consider including my own solo on this album. He was such a busy man that we were surprised how quickly he finished his composition for me. It’s called the Distant Embrace. Quite good to listen to.
Henry: It’s a very good song indeed.
MC: Both of you contributed a lot to the creative aspects of the album. Henry, what are your feelings about the creative process on this album?
Henry: I wrote 2 songs for the album, “Break Down”. One is Go and the other is It’s You. On both, it was my first time collaborating with ZM. He wrote the lyrics and I was responsible for the music. Hope that you will enjoy these songs that we worked so hard to write.
MC: I notice that the new album includes a lot of electronic/techno music. What are your feelings towards this change in musical style?
ZM: There are 10 songs on the album. The biggest difference is, if you have listened to Super Girl or Perfection, you will notice that we’ve included a lot of techno/electronic songs. Out of the 8 songs, 6 are fast/dance songs. Each song has a different feel to it. Break Down is…
MC: Yes.
ZM: And then, Go and It’s You sound cuter and younger. Stand Up is a fast song that gives a sense of strength. They’re all fast songs but all have their distinct styles.
MC: I notice that Stand Up gives off a feeling of brotherhood bonding. When singing this song, did you have other members in mind or did you think of other life experiences?
Henry: When recording the song, I lined up photos of all of their faces, one by one, on my viewing device. Whilst singing, I was looking at all of them.
ZM: Weren’t you making rap gestures when you were singing?
Henry: These are the gestures of love [as Henry demonstrates what he does when he raps]
ZM: We made special arrangements for Stand Up since this is the OST for the movie, Saving General Yang. RW, tell us about it.
RW: This song is the OST for the movie, Saving General Yang. The song is about friendship between brothers…suits us very well. It reminds me of the friendship and love between brothers. Please support this song.
